2020 Concert Season

All concerts are at Mosman Art Gallery unless otherwise advised. Please note that this year our evening concerts will be at 7.30pm rather than 8pm.

Tickets at the door: $30 | $20 concession* | Under 16s free.

Subscriptions to all 4 concerts are available at a discounted rate. When you subscribe you can also purchase a ticket for our ‘Happy Birthday Ludwig’ concert. This is not discounted, but you will be able to secure your favourite seat.


Concert 1:  Mar 14 & 15  Handel’s Coronation Anthem No. 2 with Mosman Symphony Chorus, Mozart’s Marriage of Figaro OvertureMendelssohn’s Italian Symphony, & Busoni’s Divertimento for Flute and Orchestra with soloist James Fortune

Concert 2:  May 16 & 17  ‘Fairy Tales’: The William Tell Overture, Tchaikovsky’s Swan Lake Suite, & the Butterfly Lovers’ Concerto with soloist Anny Bing Xia.

Concert 3:  July 4 & 5  Showcasing our new timpani in a concerto especially composed for the orchestra by Robert Oetomo, as well as the Barber Adagio for Strings and Sibelius’ Symphony No. 1

Concert 4:  Sep 5 & 6   ‘Out of America’ featuring audience favourite Greg Kinda playing Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue, with Copland’s Outdoor Overture, and Dvorak’s New World Symphony

$100 Adult/Senior | $65 Student/ Pensioner | U16 free admission

Extra Concerts: Nov 20*** & 22  ‘Happy Birthday Ludwig’. An all-Beethoven program celebrating the composer’s 250th birthday. Featuring Symphony No. 7 and soloist Edward Walton, with the Violin Concerto in D
