Mosman Symphony Orchestra has a long and proud history making community music on Syndey’s North Shore. It has undergone several regenerations. For ten years it was the Lane Cove Symphony Orchestra; from 1985 the Lane Cove Orchestra; it became the Mosman Orchestra in 1992 and in 2011 it was renamed Mosman Symphony Orchestra. As well as four names, the orchestra has had 2 main venues, 3 musical directors and innumerable changes of personnel.
